Omar Kosayev, the forward of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 16, shared his thoughts with the AFFA press service regarding the test match (2:1) against the Belarusian team of the corresponding age group:
"It was a difficult game. Especially the first half was difficult for us. However, after the goal I scored during the break, the team started to play more confidently. We managed to win by implementing the instructions of our head coach Aqil Nabiyev on the field. Aqil muallim played a big role in this victory. Both his tactical moves and motivational conversations with the team gave us extra strength. As a result, we won a confident victory."
The 15-year-old striker, who opened the score in the 44th minute, said that he was expecting a mistake from the opponent's goalkeeper in that episode: "Before the game, we analyzed the goalkeeper of the Belarusian national team. We knew that he only played with his right foot. In the goal episode, when I saw the goalkeeper moving the ball to his left foot, I ran at him, took the ball and put it into the goal."
O.Kosayev also shared his thoughts on the second test match against Belarus U-16 team, which will be held on May 11: "Our second game with Belarus will also be difficult. We will try to show our performance in the first match. I hope we will win that game too."
It should be noted that the match between Azerbaijan (U-16) and Belarus (U-16), which will be held on May 11 at Bina Stadium, will start at 17:00.
