"It is now completely clear that "Qarabagh" and "Zira" will represent Azerbaijan in Europe. Although "Araz-Nakhchivan" has completed 50 percent of the work, it will be necessary to wait for the last games of the championship for full formalization."
These words were said by Adil Shukurov, the former head coach of "Zira" and "Kapaz", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The expert reminded that it will be clear after the final game of the Azerbaijan Cup whether "Zira" will go to the Europa League or the Conference League:
"Similarly, the fate of "Sabah" and "Turan Tovuz" depends on the result of the final match. But unlike the Tovuz club, the indicators of participation of "Araz Nakhchivan" and "Sabah" in Europe depend on performance. Looking at it as football, we can say that no matter how pragmatic football "Turan Tovuz" plays, it is forced to play more creative football in the current period. As we mentioned, "Araz Nakhchivan" must score a minimum of 4 points from the last three rounds in order to ensure its participation in the Conference League until the last match."
