Espanyol's head coach Manolo Gonzalez has been named the best coach of April in the Spanish Championship. Sport24.az reports that the La Liga press service has released information about this.
The 46-year-old specialist surpassed Diego Simeone (Atletico) and Carlos Corberan (Valencia) in the voting.
Under Gonzalez's leadership, Espanyol defeated Rayo Vallecano (4:0), Celta (2:0) and Getafe (1:0) in a row this month.
It should be noted that Espanyol is currently in 13th place in the standings.
