"Sabah" is the 19th team to qualify for the final in the 33-year history of the Azerbaijan Cup in football.
"Report" reports with reference to the official website of the Professional Football League that the capital representative achieved this by eliminating "Neftchi" from the competition in the semi-final stage (2:1, 1:1).
"Qarabag" 12, "Neftchi" 11, "Shamakhi" 6, "Khazar Lankaran" and "Gabala" 5, "Kapaz" 4, "Baku" 3, "Kur-Nur", "Shamkir", "Sumgayit" and "Zira" successfully passed the semi-finals 2 times. "Inshaatchi" (Baku), "Shafa", "Khazri", "MKT-Araz", "Inshaatchi" (Sabirabad), "Khazar" (Lankaran) and "Karvan", like "Sabah", achieved this once.
Note that the 2001/2002 and 2019/2020 seasons were incomplete. "Sabah" will face "Qarabag" in the final.
