Today, the opening ceremony of the first of the standard-sized natural turf pitches planned as part of the construction of the Hünər training base of "Turan Tovuz", located in the Kurdakhani settlement, took place.
QOL.az reports with reference to the club's press service that members of parliament Arzu Nagiyev and Azer Allahveranov, chairman of the board of "Turan Tovuz" PFK Ehtiram Guliyev, members of the board, football veterans, the football community and media representatives attended the ceremony.
The total grass cover area of the commissioned pitch is 114 x 74 meters. The pitch has been laid in accordance with international standards for grass cover and other technical indicators. In addition, there is a 20x30 meter auxiliary training area adjacent to the pitch, and a 20x10 meter open-type training area for warm-up exercises. An administrative building and a shooting tower have been built on the territory.
The administrative building has a 55 square meter meeting room, a dressing room for 32 people, a 12-seater shower, a separate foot washing area and a sanitary junction.
In addition, a 25 square meter ice pool, a 20 square meter sauna, and doctor and massage rooms are available to the teams inside the building.
Taking into account friendly games, a 70 square meter dressing room with 15 seats, a 6-seater shower, a separate foot washing area and a sanitary junction have been built inside the building.
A 3-story observation tower with each floor of 12 square meters has been built to watch the games.
On the first floor of the tower, a boiler system in accordance with modern standards has been assembled to ensure the building's heating and water supply.
The second floor is designed for the management and coaching staff to watch the game more comfortably.
The third floor houses the camera control room. The roof is intended for an open shooting area.
In addition, high-quality drainage lines and wells have been installed against rain and irrigation water in the stadium and the general area. An additional 100-ton auxiliary fire and irrigation water tank has also been commissioned on the site.
It should be noted that the construction of the main building and the creation of 2 additional natural turf pitches are ongoing within the framework of the Kurdakhani project, which has a total area of more than 5 hectares.
