Azerbaijan champion "Qarabagh" has started cooperation with the Italian club "Udinese."
Idman.biz reports that the Udine representative will again attract young and adolescent Azerbaijani football players to its camp, as in previous years.
This time, young talents from "Qarabagh" will head to the Apennine Peninsula. They will try to do what their predecessors could not, advance to the door of Serie A and find its key.
Unfortunately, Azerbaijani football players who previously attracted the attention of "Udinese" could not stay, develop and play in this country. The Udine representative started looking for talents in our country 16-17 years ago.
At that time, Araz Abdullayev played the role of trailblazer. The teenager, who impressed the Italians with his great talent and physical characteristics, was unable to fully demonstrate what was expected.
After a while, two football players from "Baku" came into the focus of the Udine team. This time, 17-year-olds Rahman Hajiyev and Andrey Popovich were invited to Italy.
Since then, the preparation of Azerbaijani teenagers and young people in European clubs has gained great momentum. Dozens of our football players have been in the camps of clubs in Germany, Spain and other countries. But none of them has "grown" enough to play in the "Big Five" later. This spell will be broken someday. Now, the hope is for the talents who will go to Italy from the "Qarabagh" academy.
