On May 14, a theoretical and practical seminar for referees was organized by the Referees Committee of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF) at the Training and Sports Center of the National Judo Teams.
Idman.biz reports that the training reviewed the new rules introduced this year by the International Judo Federation.
At the seminar, the final preparation level of the referees for the ACF Cup in ne-waza among U-20 youth, which will be held on May 17, was checked. Practical tasks were presented to the participants, and the questions that arose were answered in detail. Also, selected footage from recent competitions was watched and discussed.
The seminar, held under the leadership of Natig Bagirov, advisor to the ACF president, and Matin Rahimli, ACF's referee manager and an "A" category international referee, aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of the referees, as well as provide additional preparation for professional performance in the upcoming competitions.
It should be noted that, in addition to the main staff of referees, referee candidates selected and involved in training by the ACF also participated in the seminar.
