FIFA plans to generate $1 billion in revenue from the 2027 Women's World Cup tournament. This was announced by the organization's president, Gianni Infantino, according to Sport24.az.
In his interview, he stated that important steps are being taken to develop women's football. Infantino emphasized that a large portion of the revenue generated from the World Cup in Brazil in two years will be spent in this direction.
It should be noted that FIFA earned $570 million in revenue from the 2023 World Cup hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
