FIFA plans to earn $1 billion in revenue from the 2027 Women's World Cup tournament.
İdman.biz reports that the organization's president, Gianni Infantino, said this in a statement.
In his interview, he stated that important steps are being taken to develop women's football. Infantino emphasized that a large part of the revenue from the World Cup, which will be held in Brazil in two years, will be spent in this direction.
It should be noted that FIFA earned $570 million in revenue from the 2023 World Cup hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
