"We worked very hard as a team throughout the season for this moment." Zamiq Aliyev, who became the Albanian champion with "Egnatia", wrote this on his social network account, Sport24.az reports.
The 24-year-old defender stated that he achieved his goals:
"We were able to defend our title and once again showed that we are the strongest team in Albania. I thank all our fans, the team, the coaching staff, the club management, and everyone working here."
"Finally, I express my deep gratitude to my family who believed in me and always supported me. Finishing my first season as a legionnaire with 2 cups (it could have been 3 - it was very bad that we lost in the cup final), championship and Super Cup was a very nice feeling for me. Waving the Azerbaijani flag in another country gave me wonderful feelings.
Finally, the national team member thanked his agent Emrah Akcaya:
"Of course, you are the main contributor to me being here. When no one believed in me, you trusted me and helped me go abroad. If it weren't for you, none of this would have happened. Hopefully, we will achieve greater success together."
