The existing relationship between "Qarabağ" Football Club and "Udinese", one of the established clubs in Italy, is transforming into a strategic partnership. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the Aghdam representative has released information about this.
Based on the negotiations held between the parties for some time, it is planned to implement cooperation in various directions. As an initial phase of cooperation, the main focus is on the exchange of knowledge and experience between academies.
According to the agreement, the football players of the "Qarabağ" Academy will periodically participate in training camps at the "Udinese" club, which will make a significant contribution to their international development. This step is of particular importance in terms of young football players gaining European experience and their technical and tactical development.
The personal initiative and approaches of the club's president, Tahir Gozal, played a special role in establishing this important cooperation. Tahir Bey's friendly relations with the Puzzo family, who own the "Udinese" club, laid the foundation for this strategic partnership. Gozal's plans for the future of the club, his emphasis on the development of young people, and his steps to strengthen "Qarabağ"'s international image made this cooperation possible.
Practical cooperation will start from the beginning of the new season due to the start of the summer break in the leagues for lower age groups, as in the main leagues, and members of the academy will go to Italy. Relations between the two clubs will not be limited to the academy level only. In the future, mutual exchange of experience between coaches and club functionaries, sharing of experience in various departments, and implementation of joint projects are also planned.
