Mohamed Salah has expressed his desire to win the Ballon d'Or for the Egyptian people.
İdman.biz reports that the Liverpool and Egypt national team player confessed this in an interview with L'Equipe.
Salah answered the question of whether the failure in the Champions League will affect the fight for the Ballon d'Or as follows: "It's not in my power, but one day I would like to win the Ballon d'Or for my people. If you were born in a village in Egypt, it's hard to dream of the Ballon d'Or as a child. When I moved to Liverpool, I started thinking that maybe one day it will be possible... But even if I don't win, I can still consider my career successful."
Liverpool's Egyptian winger also touched on the age issue: "I'm only 32 years old, in recent years several winners were over 30 years old. So you never know. The next season will also be interesting: we will try to defend our title with Liverpool and also play in the Champions League, with the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations and, I hope, in the World Cup. My ambitions are to win all the titles."
