The "Respect Forum 2025" organized by UEFA was held in Zurich, Switzerland. Sport24.az reports that Zahra Valizade, a leading specialist of the Infrastructure Department, represented AFFA at the forum held at the "Letzigrund" stadium, which will host several matches of the European Women's Championship this year.
Participants were divided into 17 different working groups, and each group discussed a specific area of sustainability, working on innovative and practical solutions. Zahra Valizade took part in the "Smart and Welcoming Stadiums" working group, participating in discussions on topics such as accessibility, technology integration, inclusiveness, and improving the fan experience in modern stadiums. Approaches to stadiums not only as venues for sports events, but also as social connectors, the application of green technologies, and ways to create a safer, more inclusive infrastructure were discussed.
The forum provided information on the goals for 2021-2030 within the framework of UEFA's social and environmental sustainability strategy, as well as the "FootbALL" program implemented on the basis of the "Strength Through Unity" strategy, and the newly introduced digital platform within this program.
