The world's largest chess piece has been created in the city of Río Ceballos, Argentina.
According to "Report", the official website of FIDE reported this.
The figure, erected in the city center and 7.62 meters high, made of iron, has been submitted for official recognition by the Guinness Book of Records.
The project was privately funded by a businessman, and the figure was installed in front of the Chess School in the center of Río Ceballos.
It should be noted that the tallest figure before that was located in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. The wooden "King" figure is 6.09 meters high.
