Rauf Mammadov to participate in World Championship in London

Our chess player Rauf Mammadov will participate in the World Team Rapid and Blitz Championships. Sport24.az reports that the intellectual will be part of the "Freedom" team in the competition to be held in London, the capital of Great Britain.

 

His teammates include Viswanathan Anand (India), Le Quang Liem (China), Emil Sutovsky (Israel), Anna Muzychuk (Ukraine), Samuel Sevian (USA), Alexey Sarana (Russia), Haik Martirosyan (Armenia), Sarbarto Mani (India) and Teodora Injac (Serbia). They will compete for medals in both rapid and blitz.

 

Note that the championship will be held from June 10 to 16.
