"Leicester" will leave the English Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the "foxes" have ended their chances of staying in the elite with a defeat to Liverpool (0:1) with 5 rounds remaining.
Leicester head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy commented on their departure from the Premier League:
"The fact that we were relegated disappointed me a lot. We worked hard, but it didn't work out. In recent weeks, we saw that the situation did not change. We already realized that we would say goodbye to the elite. But we have not given up and we want to finish the season with as many points as possible.
I don't know my fate at the club. We will play in the Championship and I am ready to do my best. I'm waiting to see what the club management is planning."
"Leicester" is 19th in the standings with 18 points after 33 rounds.
