Real Madrid's French forward, Kilian Mbappe, is among the top three contenders for the "Golden Boot". This was reported by "A Bola", according to Sport24.az.
The footballer has 54 points after his hat-trick against Barcelona in the 35th round of La Liga. In La Liga, a footballer earns two points in the "Golden Boot" ranking for each goal.
At the top of the list is Viktor Gyokeres, the Sporting forward, who has 57 points for the 38 goals he scored in the Portuguese championship. Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is second with 28 goals and 56 points.
Also in the top five are Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski and Bayern forward Harry Kane, who have scored 25 goals in their respective leagues and earned 50 points.
It should be noted that the "Golden Boot" is awarded to the best scorer in the championships of UEFA member countries.
