The clubs that spent the most on defender transfers in the last 5 seasons have been revealed.

"Chelsea" – 391.4 million euros, 13 defenders
"Tottenham" – 358.1 million euros, 18 defenders
"Manchester City" – 320.4 million euros, 9 defenders
"Manchester United" – 281.2 million euros, 12 defenders
"Arsenal" – 258.4 million euros, 11 defenders
"Real" ranks 236th in the world. The Spanish giant spent only 5 million euros on defenders.
This 5 million was paid for Fran Garcia in 2023. The other two defender transfers were free. Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba joined the team as free agents.
It should be noted that Trent Alexander-Arnold will also join "Real" as a free agent this summer.
