Football referee Artur Iksanov died during a match in the Krasnoyarsk region of Russia.
"Report" reports, citing the media of the neighboring country, that the 45-year-old referee died during a tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War at the "Stroitel" stadium in Achinsk.
It is reported that the referee suddenly lost consciousness and fell to the ground. An ambulance crew arrived at the scene 5 minutes later. However, despite all efforts, it was not possible to save him.
The initial cause of death of the referee, who had three children, was cardiac arrest.
