The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has managed to increase its revenue from $6.5 billion to $13 billion in the last four years.
Report informs that FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced this at the organization's 75th Congress in Asuncion.
"When talking about finance, one more topic should be mentioned. If we look at the budget for 2019-2022, it is 6.5 billion dollars. If we look at the revenue budget for the current period until 2026, it is already 13 billion dollars. We have doubled our revenue compared to the last four-year period, which allows us to implement various programs. For example, the "Forward" program has expanded over the past nine years, increasing sevenfold," Infantino noted.
"Now we can invest in the development of football all over the world because you are developing FIFA. Football is currently one of the strongest sports and is also a leader in the entertainment sector, for example. We have many partners, all of whom are proud to cooperate with FIFA, which is becoming stronger and stronger. Why? Because our management system is strengthened by our investments, world economies and our relations with politics, because we talk to everyone, we make time for every association," he said.
