- You defeated Turan Tovuz in a match that was not important for Neftchi in terms of the tournament table. How difficult was the away win?

- We knew it would be a difficult game. It is always difficult to compete on an artificial field in Tovuz. That's how it was. Nevertheless, we won and are happy.

- Considering that you have no chance for European Cups, what is the motivation for Neftchi in the last rounds?

- Yes, we have no chance. But we play for the name of Neftchi. We have to prove that we are in good shape. Our goal is to win the next two matches as well. We want to finish the season on a high note.

- Although Neftchi's budget is quite large, the team has been out of the European Cups for the second year in a row. What prevents you from achieving success?

- I can't say anything financially. Neftchi is a big name. Of course, we regret not getting into the European Cups. This disappoints us a lot. As hard as it is, we really had an unsuccessful season. It's too late to talk.

- Can the team forget this failure in the new season?

- I can't say anything about the new season yet. There are still the last two games of the season ahead. We have to win those matches.

- The season in Azerbaijan will end with the cup final. On one side is your former club Qarabag, and on the other is Sabah, who eliminated you from the competition. Which team does Filip Ozobic want to win the cup?

- It's true, I played in Qarabag for 4-5 years. But now I am a Neftchi player. I am only interested in the performance of this team. Therefore, it doesn't matter who wins in the final. Whoever deserves it, let him win.
