We are pleased with the increasing interest of young people in archery.
"Report" informs that this was stated by Natig Fazilov, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national archery team.
Answering journalists' questions after the Azerbaijani Archery Championship held at the Baku Sports Palace, the specialist said that the competition was organized at a high level:
"The number of participants in archery competitions is increasing every time. We are especially pleased with the increasing interest of young people in the tournament. We are looking forward to the World Championship to be held in Canada. In addition, we are looking forward to the competition to be held in Khankendi as part of the CIS Games. I believe that our archers will represent our country with dignity."
It should be noted that about 60 athletes representing different regions competed in the Azerbaijani championship, which lasted for 3 days. Male and female archers targeted the target from 18 meters in three age categories (teenagers under 16, young people aged 16-18 and adults) in the indoor hall.
