With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the organization of the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation (ARAF), our country is represented for the first time with a delegation of 130 people at the traditional "Windsor Royal Horse Show - 2025" held in Great Britain.
Idman.biz reports that one of the members of the delegation, young equestrian Elvina Valesheva, said in an interview with AZERTAC that representing Azerbaijan at this event is a great source of pride for her.
"It is a great honor for us to fly the Azerbaijani flag in Britain. During this trip, we will perform in a show composition called "Azerbaijan - Land of Fire". We feel even more excited because there is a live orchestra in the program," she said.
Elvina Valesheva noted that she will demonstrate three different movements in her performance: "One of them is doing the splits between two horses. This is both a responsible and exciting moment for me," she emphasized.
Elvina added that after the performance in Windsor, she will also represent Azerbaijan at the next international event to be held in Turkey on May 22–25.
The "Azerbaijan – Land of Fire" show composition was presented with a dazzling display of Karabakh horses, performances by talented dancers, and accompanied by a new orchestra group. The composition is based on Karabakh horses, which are well known to Windsor audiences for their frenzy and beauty, as well as graceful Azerbaijani dances and our enchanting national music.
"Windsor Royal Horse Show – 2025" is held from May 15 to 18 on the territory of the historical castle of the same name in Windsor. Representatives from different countries of the world participate in the event.
