Unlike the main team of "Qarabağ", which dominates in the Misli Premier League and qualifies for the group stage of European Cups every year, the substitutes are considered to be in the middle of their league. Mirzabeyli explained the reason for this as follows:
"The championship of substitutes is not stable. Teams have different squads and strategies. We rely more on young players. In some matches, our opponent appeared with 7 players from the main team. In recent years, we have relied more on young people. Therefore, the result does not matter. If a football player is old, there is no point in keeping him in the second team. Instead, it is necessary to play young football players. We have many potential football players in our academy and substitute team. It is just very difficult to get into the main team of "Qarabağ". Even most local football players who wear uniforms in the Premier League cannot get into Gurban Gurbanov's team. You have to work hard to get into the main team. It depends on the players themselves. Currently, 2-3 football players are under the supervision of the coaching staff of the main team. Time will tell whether they will get there or not."
It should be noted that 34 rounds have passed in the Reserve League. "Qarabağ-2" is in 4th place with 57 points.
