The head coach of the Spanish champion "Real", Carlo Ancelotti, has explained why he refused to lead the Italian national team.
"I refused because I knew I didn't want to do it.
I really enjoy being at the training ground every day, preparing for training sessions, and I felt that I would lose part of my passion for the national team," Ancelotti said, according to Lent.az, citing foreign media.
Carlo Ancelotti has been managing "Real" since 2021. His contract with the Madrid club is valid until 2026.
