Vagif Javadov: "The referee did everything he could for "Kapaz" to win."

"Sumgayit" lost to "Kapaz" 0:1 away in the 34th round of the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of "chemists" Vagif Javadov answered journalists' questions at the press conference held after the match:

- It was a tense, interesting game. Both teams wanted to win. Today the referee did everything for "Kapaz" to win. We also had opportunities, but we couldn't take advantage of them. Whatever decision the management makes, I will support it. If I stay here next season, you can say something about my work.

- If you had a chance, what would you change in "Sumgayit"?

- Of course, I would change some players. In modern football, if you don't run, if you're not eager, it's impossible to win. I also have mistakes. But I didn't build this team. We made only 3 transfers after winter. I am ready to leave if my departure benefits "Sumgayit".

- Why don't you give young people a chance?

- Which club besides us plays football players born in 2006-2007? If they were good enough, I would definitely want to play them. The reason we are in 9th place is not only Vagif Javadov. The team was not playing well before me either. I am ready for any situation. The main thing was to stay in the Premier League, and we succeeded. - The contracts of almost 70 percent of local players are expiring.
