The Uzbekistan national football team has won the Asian Cup among players under 17 years old. Sport24.az reports that the Central Asian team defeated Saudi Arabia in the decisive match.
In the final game held on Sunday in Taif, Saudi Arabia, the Uzbeks won with a score of 2:0. The goals were scored by Bunyodkor winger Sadriddin Khasanov (51st minute) and Pakhtakor defender Muhammad Hakimov (70th).
At the end of the first half, the Uzbekistan national team continued the match with 9 players due to the expulsion of two players from the field.
It should be noted that in the play-off stage, Uzbekistan eliminated the UAE (3:1) and North Korea (3:0).
