"Sumgayit" club will not appeal to the Appeals and Arbitration Tribunal regarding the punishment of Vugar Mustafayev and Rashad Azizli by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.
This was reported to "Report" by the club's press secretary Zaur Khudiyev.
The club official said that they accept the players' penalties:
"We will not have an appeal regarding the penalties. There was tension in the game, the players could not control their emotions, and such incidents happened. As a logical result of this, the AFFA Disciplinary Committee fined both the club and punished the players. We accept the penalties and do not intend to appeal."
Z. Khudiyev also answered the question of whether the players will be punished by the club:
"Frankly, I don't think that will happen. Vugar will end his career at the end of the season anyway. He just accelerated it a little with the red card. I don't believe that there will be a penalty for Rashad either. This will be determined at the club's internal meeting."
It should be noted that in the 89th minute of the "Kapaz" - "Sumgayit" match held in the XXXIV round of the Misli Premier League, the guests' football players Rashad Azizli and Vugar Mustafayev were punished with 4 matches, two of which were conditional, for receiving a direct red card for aggressive behavior. For the actions of the players, the Sumgayit representative was fined a total of 6,000 manats. A probationary period of 3 months was set for both players.
