Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger has been handed a six-match ban for unsportsmanlike conduct in the Spanish Cup final against Barcelona.
"Report" informs that the press service of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has released information about this.
In the final minutes of the game, the head referee stopped the "royal club's" attack due to Kilian Mbappe's action against Eric Garcia. After that, Rüdiger, who was in the technical area next to the substitutes' bench, threw ice at the referee. Subsequently, the German was penalized with a red card.
According to the protocol, two more Real players - English midfielder Jude Bellingham and Spanish defender Lucas Vazquez also received red cards. However, the RFEF reconsidered the decision regarding the Briton and canceled his expulsion. Vasquez was banned for two games.
It is worth remembering that Real Madrid lost to Barcelona in the Spanish Cup.
