Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Turkish club Fenerbahçe, has reached an agreement with the Portuguese Football Federation to lead the national team.
According to "Report", citing "HT Spor," the specialist may be invited to the national team after the Nations League finals in June.
Currently, the Portuguese national team is led by Roberto Martinez.
It should be noted that J. Mourinho's contract with Fenerbahçe is valid until the summer of 2026. The 62-year-old Portuguese specialist, who previously worked in teams such as Porto (Portugal), Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United (all England), Inter, Roma (both Italy), and Real Madrid (Spain), has never been a head coach of national teams.
