Former "Real" coach Leo Beenhakker has passed away. Sport24.az reports that the Dutch specialist died at the age of 82.
Beenhakker coached the Madrid club in 1986-1989 and in the 1991-1992 season. During his coaching period, "Real" became the Spanish champion three times in a row. The capital's representative also won the Spanish Cup and Super Cup with Beenhakker.
Beenhakker, who also coached the national teams of the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Poland, was also the head coach of "Feyenoord", "Ajax", "Vitesse", "Ujpest", "Grasshopper", and "Istanbulspor" clubs.
