- You drew with Sabah in the last home game of the season. How would you comment on the 1:1 draw?
- I think it was a good game. This can be attributed to both teams. We played well and so did Sabah. Therefore, the 1 point obtained can be considered a good result. Everything has already been decided for us in the championship.
- Although Zira was superior to the opponent before the break, this cannot be said about the second half. The opponent took the advantage and scored a goal. What was the reason for this? Lack of motivation or fatigue?
- These things happen in football. Sometimes you make a better impression in the first half than in the second 45 minutes. Or vice versa. But I don't think we were significantly behind the opponent in the second half. We played normal football in both halves. We had chances to score after the break as well. The opponent simply made the most of an opportunity that came their way.
- It is well known that Zira wants Qarabag to win the cup to qualify for the Europa League. Therefore, I will not ask who you will support. From a neutral point of view, how would you rate the chances for the final?
- I think it will be an interesting game. Both teams have good players. Qarabag has already secured the championship. For Sabah, this is the last chance. They will give their all to win. Therefore, it will be a very tense game. I think our chances of going to the Europa League are higher in comparison.
- Your contract with Zira continues. So, can we say that we will see you in the team next season as well?
- Yes, I have another one-year contract. Therefore, I will work for the success of Zira next season as well.
- Next season, the limit on legionnaires in the Azerbaijan Premier League will be abolished. Do you think this will lead to an increase in the level of the championship?
- I think the next championship will be more intense compared to previous seasons. All teams will try to take advantage of the abolition of the limit. The upcoming championship will be more spectacular and more intense. This can already be said now.
