Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti shared his thoughts after the Champions League 1/4 final second leg match against Arsenal, which they lost (1:2).
QOL.az reports that the Italian specialist first answered the question "What happened to your team?" at the press conference:
"It's pointless to analyze today, we have to accept this failure and all the blows. I told the players to keep their heads up, we have achieved a lot in this tournament in other seasons. This year, we couldn't achieve anything like that. That's how it is in sports, there are no invincible teams."
Ancelotti was also asked whether he will be at Real Madrid next season. He stated that he will respect any decision made by the club's management: "I don't know and I don't want to know. We have experienced a lot. There are two parts to football, joyful and sad. Today we are sad. We were used to being happy. The season continues, nothing is over yet. Will I be in charge of the team at the Club World Cup? I can't talk about it now. If the club wants to make a change, I will respect the decision."
It should be reminded that Real Madrid, who also lost (0:3) the first leg held in London, said goodbye to the Champions League.
