"Bayer" will demand millions from "Real" for Xabi Alonso's move to "Real"
Xabi Alonso's representative, Iñaki Ibáñez, recently met with the management of "Real". Journalist Florian Plettenberg made this claim, according to Sport24.az.
"Bayer" officials are awaiting Xabi's final decision. If Alonso moves to Madrid, the German club will demand compensation from the other party in the range of 15-20 million euros.
It is also reported that "Real" officials have not yet contacted "Bayer" officials directly. Leverkusen hopes Alonso will stay. But they have not let go of their precautions. The Germans are already considering candidates for the position that will become vacant if Alonso leaves.
It should be noted that Alonso coached the youth team of the "Royal Club" in 2018.
