Kamaladdin Heydarov, President of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, who is on a visit to Jordan, met with Prince Rashid bin El Hassan, President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation. Sport24.az reports that the meeting discussed the work done and achievements made in the development of taekwondo in Azerbaijan and Jordan, respectively, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two federations in order to increase the popularity of this sport, and exchanged views extensively.
At the end of the meeting, a "Memorandum of Cooperation on Strengthening Cooperation in the Development of Taekwondo between the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation and the Jordan Taekwondo Federation" was signed.
The memorandum envisages cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan in order to strengthen relations in taekwondo, including mutual training camps, seminars, exchange of experience between athletes and coaches, and other issues.
