Murad Fatiyev: "I think I will recover in a month"

"I will return to training as soon as I recover."

This was stated to Idman.biz by Azerbaijani judoka Murad Fatiyev.

He spoke about his non-participation in the World Championship to be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, due to injury. The national team member, who competes in the 90 kg weight category, said that he feels good now: "Everything is fine. I injured my neck. I think I will recover in about a month. I have no pain now."

Fatiyev said that he is disappointed: "Of course, I am upset that I will miss the championship. But there are Islamic Solidarity Games ahead. I will prepare for that. The World Championship will also be held in Baku next year. I want to win both."

It should be noted that Fatiyev was injured in the match for third place at the European Championship held in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Our representative won the "bronze fight".
