The Slovenian women's volleyball team is holding a training camp in France ahead of the European Golden League games in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the team, which includes 15 athletes, has started training in Toulouse.
Slovenian volleyball player Mia Shiftar said that they have set high goals: "That's why a positive energy is felt from the very beginning. We have to work hard and seriously. It is important to play as well as possible in the Golden Euroleague."
Alessandro Orefice, the head coach of the Slovenian national team, is satisfied with the work done: "After the club season, we had to adapt to the national team system again. We know each other well and are moving step by step to be in the best shape for the first match of the Golden Euroleague."
After the training camp in Toulouse, the Slovenians will train at home, and then they will go to the first tournament of the European Golden League to be held in Baku.
The Azerbaijani national team will face the Slovenian team on May 31.
