According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the 21-year-old athlete received $1,037,674 for winning the "Masters" tournament held in Monte Carlo (Monaco). Thus, his total prize pool amounted to $40,231,787.
Carlos Alcaraz became the 11th player in the history of tennis, both men's and women's, to exceed $40 million in career prize money.
The leader among men in this indicator is the 24-time "Grand Slam" winner Serbian Novak Djokovic ($186,933,983). The highest-earning woman is 23-time major champion American Serena Williams ($94,816,730).
