Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has spoken about extending his contract with the club. Sport24.az reports that the Egyptian footballer said the following:
"Based on the history of the club, I rated the chance of extending the contract at 10 percent. The club's philosophy is like that, I know how they treated players over 30 before. Honestly, I didn't expect to stay at Liverpool. I think the club was still testing me to see if I would still contribute to them. I didn't want more, I just wanted a two-year contract."
The 31-year-old winger's contract, which was due to expire at the end of this season, has been extended until 2027.
