"Real Madrid" has signed Benfica's left-back Alvaro Carreras.
According to Lent.az, the footballer will continue his career in the Spanish club. The final details of the transfer are yet to be resolved.
It was previously reported that the Spanish defender's contract included a 50 million euro release clause. However, it is not yet known whether the "royal club" will activate it or whether a lower amount will be paid for the player.
Carreras has played 48 games in all competitions this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. The player's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is 28 million euros.
