Barcelona's Brazilian winger Raphinha has surpassed former Milan midfielder Kaka and former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino to become the Brazilian with the most goals+assists in a Champions League season. Sport24.az reports that he achieved this in the match against Borussia.
In the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Borussia (4:0), Raphinha not only scored himself (25th minute), but also provided assists to his teammates Robert Lewandowski (48th minute) and Lamine Yamal (77th minute).
Thus, the Brazilian increased the number of points in the goal+assist system to 19 in the 2024/2025 season, surpassing all his compatriots who have ever played in the Champions League.
