"In terms of the squad, "Sabah" should have finished the season in the top four at worst. However, due to certain circumstances and changes in head coaches, they were unable to be in the desired position in the championship." These words were said by Ramin Guliyev, the former head coach of "Sabah".
The expert stated that it would not be correct to consider it a tragedy if "Sabah" remains out of the European cups:
"It is possible to insure an unsuccessful season by winning against "Qarabag" in the cup final. If "Sabah" does not qualify for European cups due to the created conditions, it means that the goal set as a club will not be achieved. It would not be correct to turn this into a tragedy. Of course, they are in the cup final and have a chance. They also played in European cups last year. I repeat, if they stay out this year and cannot win the cup, it can be noted as an unsuccessful season, not a tragedy."
It should be noted that the final game will be held on May 31 at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade.
