Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has equaled the record of Cristiano Ronaldo and David De Gea.
"Report" informs that the Portuguese national team member was chosen by the fans of the Manchester representative as the best player of the 2024/2025 season.
The 30-year-old midfielder surpassed Amad Diallo and Harry Maguire in the voting. Thus, B. Fernandes became the third football player to be awarded the "Sir Matt Busby" award 4 times.
K. Ronaldo was chosen as the best of the season in 2004, 2007, 2008, 2022. David De Gea was awarded this award in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. The award has been presented every year since the 1987/1988 season.
It should be noted that the Portuguese football player scored 19 goals and the same number of assists in 54 matches for Manchester United in the 2024/2025 season.
