Lamine Yamal sets another record

Barcelona's 17-year-old striker Lamine Yamal played his 100th match for the Catalan club in all competitions. Sport24.az reports that this happened in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Inter.

At the time of the match, Yamal was 17 years and 291 days old. With this, the footballer became the youngest player to play 100 matches in the history of Barcelona.

Previously, this record belonged to another Spanish midfielder, Gavi (19 years 30 days). In third place is Bojan Krkic, who played his 100th match for the Catalans at 19 years, 2 months, and 25 days.

It should be noted that this season Yamal has participated in 49 matches in all tournaments, scored 15 goals and provided 24 assists.
