Elchin Mammadov, Director of the Club Licensing Department of AFFA, revealed the details of the meeting held with the participation of financial managers of Misli Premier League representatives.
In a statement to "Report", he said that this was not a special meeting.
E. Mammadov said that they traditionally bring together elite clubs in April:
"Just like our colleagues, the other 54 national associations do this as well. Information is received from clubs in April. This includes the annual financial report and the indicators there. They are submitted to the European football organization via UEFA's special platform. By collecting this information, the organization prepares an annual report every year. Comparative analyzes are carried out there regarding the financial situation in each country".
The AFFA official emphasized that he cannot yet provide information on the changes to be made to the financial criteria from the next licensing season:
"Because the changes are sent to us after they are first approved by UEFA. We also inform the clubs. Our seminar was about technical issues. It is too early to comment on the next year. Certain changes are expected. But we cannot give an official statement until UEFA announces it. If the new rules are approved by the Executive Committee of the organization in the summer, we will hold meetings with the clubs about this".
