The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) continues its activities to strengthen the fight against doping in the country and to raise awareness of the sports community in this area. Sport24.az reports that the next seminar in this framework was organized for young and junior athletes of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation.
The main goal of the seminar was to inform table tennis players about anti-doping rules, the rights and responsibilities of athletes, as well as anti-doping strategies.
Participants were given detailed explanations about prohibited substances and methods, the doping control process, the role of athletes in this process, and the mechanisms for managing the results. It was emphasized that in some cases, athletes may unknowingly or carelessly take medications containing prohibited substances. Therefore, each athlete must carefully check the composition of the drugs used.
The seminar was held in an interactive format, and participants had the opportunity to directly address their questions to experts.
