Paris-2024: More than 100 athletes return medals due to poor quality
More than 100 athletes who won awards at the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France, have returned their medals due to their poor quality.
"Report" reports with reference to "La Lettre" that the management of the Paris Mint, which produces the medals, has already dismissed 3 leading specialists.
Earlier, US skateboarder Nyjah Huston and French swimmer Maxime Grousset, who won bronze medals at Paris-2024, complained about the poor quality of the medals. This was due to the cracking and peeling of the medals of the mentioned athletes two weeks after the competition.
It should be noted that the Summer Olympic Games were held from July 26 to August 11, and the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8.
