Azerbaijani fencer Anna Bashta, who underwent surgery some time ago due to an injury, has assessed her latest condition.
The member of our national saber team gave an interview to "Report" about this.
The athlete, who had surgery on her leg, said that she feels good now:
"The operation was successful. There was pain for a few days after the operation. I moved less. Even for a positive person like me, this period was a bit difficult. But I coped with it. I can say that the hard days are over. I feel good now. The rehabilitation process will start after I start walking. The more successful the rehabilitation, the sooner I will be able to start training. The next 2-3 months will be very important in this regard."
It should be noted that the 28-year-old sabre fencer is the European champion (2022) and the silver medalist of the World Championship (2022).
