The football tournament among the faculties of BSU, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth, organized jointly by AFFA and the Student Trade Union Committee of Baku State University (BSU) within the framework of the UEFA "Hat-Trick" program, has concluded.
İdman.biz reports that in the match for the 3rd place held at the Baku State University football field, the team of the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science defeated the team of the Faculty of Physics in a post-match penalty shootout and won the bronze medal of the tournament.
In the final game, the team of the Faculty of International Relations and Economics defeated the team of the Faculty of History with a score of 2:0 and lifted the cup over their heads.
The winning team in the tournament was awarded a cup by AFFA, and the top 3 winners were awarded with medals. Awards were also presented in various nominations. The awards and the cup were jointly presented to the participants by Farrukh Ismayilov, Head of the Mass Football Department of AFFA, Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University, and other officials.
