- "Qarabag" became the champion of Azerbaijan again. We would like to get your opinion.
- I am very happy, I congratulate the "Qarabag" fans. We are becoming champions for the 12th time. It's a great success. If we do it three more times, we will win three stars. The championship went very well. Next year, the number of teams in the league will increase even more. "Karvan", "Gabala" and "Imishli" also join the league. The quality of football in our country is improving and rising every year. It was a wonderful evening. I congratulate "Qarabag". They created a great atmosphere here. We had a wonderful holiday, the weather was also very beautiful. We made the "Qarabag" fans, Azerbaijan happy. God willing, we will continue on our way in Europe now.
- I guess the goals haven't changed?
- Yes, the goals have not changed. It depends on the decision of UEFA whether we start the CL from the 2nd qualifying round or from the 1st round. But coming there itself shows the football level of "Qarabag". With 32 thousand points, "Qarabag" is somewhere among the average European clubs. This is a source of pride for all of us. Of course, we will all try to develop further.
- "Qarabag" also has a game in the national cup ahead. Are you expecting a "Golden double"?
- Of course, we will work for this. "Sabah" is our opponent, a strong club. I have special respect for "Sabah". There are people there who come from the roots of football. I wish both clubs success, both of them are ours, both of them deserve it.
- "Zira" and "Turan Tovuz" are rooting for you in the final. Because if you win, "Turan Tovuz" will go to the European Cups, and "Zira" will go to the Europa League...
- That's right. The head coach of "Zira" is Rashad Sadigov, he is also my soul, he is close to us. I wish them all success, they are all our children, they are all our clubs.
- What do you think about the idea of bringing the Conference League cup to Azerbaijan in five years?
- God willing. Let it be fate. That's why we have to work. What gives me the main hope? The appearance of our young players in the game. Today I am very happy to see Hikmat Jabrayilzade, Amin Rzayev. Let our youth come. All of them are children who have to come from the youth team. Our future is young people. God willing, they will bring it.
